I was wondering if anyone has gotten into a pa school for the didactic/clinical portion with less than a 3.0. If so which schools?

Don't know what you mean by the clinical potion, but I got accepted to Oregon Health Sciences with an overall undergrad GPA of 2.82, but my science GPA was 3.46.

Well, if your overall GPA isn't the greatest, but you have great people skills, good recommendations, and volunteer work to show that you can exercise people skills, you shouldn't have too much trouble, but your Science GPA has to be a minumum of a 3.0, and I mean bare minimum. There's no way around it and to tell you the truth, I don't think I'd feel comfortable having a PA practice on me who just had mediocre grades in important courses.

Just because you have excellent grades doent necessarily mean that you UNDERSTAND the material. Sure anyone can remember anything and spit it back out on tests. For example... just cuz you have a drivers lisence doesnt mean you KNOW how to drive.

analogies are a poor way of exploiting an argument, especially when they make no sense.

pa school is just as difficult to get into as medical school, but the prereqs are a lot easier for PA school. not to mention no mcat. but you need lots of clinical experience OR near a 4.0 for 99% of schools. most schools worth their salt won't let in a 4.0 student w/o clinical experience.
