Thankyou all for anwering my previous questions ...
Can anyone explain how the mechanism of elongation factor 2 translocation works in C diphtheriae ..Really confused?????
Thanks in advance

EF2 ribosylation basically just means inhibition translation (protein syn) via inhibiting the elongation factor 2 of Eukaryotes.
If you dont have EF-2, then you can't effectively translocate the mRNA (shifting the mRNA along the ribosome).
OVERALL: the point to memorize is defective PROTEIN Synthesis due to ADP ribosylation of eEF2 (the little e stands for eukaryotes)
