Hey guys I graduated from undergrad in about six years (worked through college) and I was wondering how this would look to ADCOM as I often was not full time (3.14 GPA)...
I have never heard of medical schools considering how long your undergrad took to complete. I believe they only look at overall GPA, science GPA, MCAT scores, activity sheet, and your application letter.

They didn't say anything to me.

Ross thinks the older you are, the wiser. Anything above 3.0 is a plus too. You'll be smarter than half of us straight-outta-college punks in class anyway.

I'm not sure whether Ross cares how long it takes a student to complete undergrad, but I do know for a fact US med schools do. US med schools look at length, # of course withdrawls, # of incomplete courses, how well you balanced your course load (e.g taking 18 credits and getting a 2.9 then taken 12 and getting say a 3.8 as oppose to taking a more balanced course load), and lastly # of course repeats. If you have to repeat a course, you have to get an A the second time there's no if or buts about it.

Hello, Ross will take into consideration everything in your history. If your work was related to science/health it could be a benefit. I was out of school for 10 years... yes.. IN my case i was offered MERP. and took it / passed and now I'm in 4th semester. If you really want to go to MEDschool, it doesn't matter how old you are, just let them know that YOU know what you're getting into and that you are willing to DO IT!! good luck.
