View Full Version : Wireless in married housing???

Does anybody know if they are going to wireless the married housing as well as other buildings. I am a term 1 studend starting in Jan 07.

None of the dorms will have wireless in the rooms because the walls are made of concrete and the wireless signal will not go through.. the study rooms and the lecture halls have wireless internet. the dorms are going to have ether ports installed so you will need an ethernet cable to be connected. And as far as people know ALL dorms will be hooked up eventually, so yes that includes married housing since it's on campus. When will this happen?? No one knows for sure.

hey I was in married housing in Feb '04 ...I stayed in the R building...we had the last room with a balcony and we got internet but right against the window....I also know that people in building U, I believe it is...also with a balcony also got internet but right near the window...just thought you'd like to know!

doesnt matter as all dorms will eventually get internet
