Dear Valuemd users. I am in the middle of preparing for the usmle.
I got the 2005 Kaplan materials from a friend, and have been using those books ( which are organ systems based). In the mean while I ordered webprep from kaplan, and got 2006 series ( which really is 2004 physio/micro-immuno/behavioural mixed in with 2006 path/anatomy/pharm and biochem). the I am going to ask Kaplan why they did this, but here is wht I need to know.
1. Should I read the 2005 once, and then look at the revised books st in the 2006 series?
2. Should I just stick with the 2005 books.
3. In the new immuno the materials are twice as thick as the 2005 version , which is a problem as it dents my schedule.
I know that I cannot go through all of the 2006 books over agian as that will take forever. Can anyone who has gone through the Kaplan /step 1 offer advice.
