i just got my acceptance letter from ross today and i called SGU to inform them of this to see if there was any way to speed up the admissions process, since i heard others who have had success with this. but the lady i talked to said that the admissions committee would meet sometime later this month and that she didn't know if they would meet before oct. 10th, which is my deadline to send in my deposit to ross.
i interviewed about 1 week ago, and the lady said that my interviewer had not turned in my file yet. but she told me to go ahead and fax in my ross acceptance letter and she would add it to my file.
does anyone have any advice on what i should do? should i send in my deposit to ross and wait and lose $1000 if I get accepted to SGU? should i try to email my interviewer about my situation? would it even help if the committee is not going to meet until the latter half of the month?
thanks

That's pretty tough. I guess you can try to contact everyone you can, but you can't really control when the committee meets, and that's what it all boils down to. I think most people would suggest that you just risk the 1000 deposit. In the long run, that really won't mean much at all. However, if you're confident with your stats, you can risk it... though... that's risking it... If I were you, I'd just send Ross the deposit to secure my seat at a medschool. You'll have enough on your mind in the coming months anyway.
