My understanding is it was a guy that followed an girl down here. they had gone to MERP together and had some kinda relationship, but only she came down as a student. Anyway, he took his own life by overdosing; on what I don't but he apparently called her to tell her about it just before he died. Sad Sad story.

I was an April Merp student, and this girl was repeating Merp. Her boyfriend that she met at merp, went to the island. While at merp, We saw her arriving with another guy from merp, every morning.Toward the last week, I din't see her again with the guy. I am assuming that when She went to the island, She tried to resume relationship with her boyfriend, or finally left him, and we are seeing the result."

This is very tragic. Perhaps Ross should somehow assess an applicants psychological stability before accepting him/her, but im unsure how such an assessment is to be executed. I mean, I went through a similar situation with my ex but I became stronger as a result.
