I've been doing USMLE WORLD and getting in the 60's. Does anyone know what score on USMLE world is a good indication of passing step1?

i dont know if usmle world is a good question bank to be studying from. I would advise you to get qbank or qmax and see how you do on those. from what i understand the usmle world is geared step 2 material...so you may miss out on the basice science material needed for step one. i hope i helped. take care.

Using a Q-bank - most of my post till now have been fun - however, I now have a December 2 test date - Does not matter about the q-bank - what does matter is how you use them. FOr the step 1 you want speed you also want important concepts and also those mechanism behind them. If you are getting 60's - keep redoing the q-bank until you are getting in the 90's. Questions you are missing need to be researched - questions you got if not by pure dumb luck - need to be researched until you know the why.

Thanks for the advice guys, st_55 your right, I have realized that alot of basic sciences are missing from USMLE world, so i'm gonna focus more on kaplan qbank.
