Ex-Ross Pharm Prof at AUC

Hey there,

One of your old Pharm profs is now part of our faculty. Dr. P**** is a great prof thus far, and seems to really know his stuff. Does anyone on here have any hints or suggestions on his testing style? Its always nice to hear from upper semesters about other profs around here... eg. He will always test you on the Bolded stuff or, Be sure to know the things a prof will digress on, etc. I just wanted to get some feedback from someone who has had before... Thanks alot!

seems like a few of the ross profs are at diff schools now. there is also one in sgu teaching physio. dr. H.

and another woman that guest lecture also in physio, forgot her name, but she taught the class like it was in pre-school level

when people say education here is excellent blah blah blah. U always have to remember that profs also island hop as well as carib med school hop.

Pharm is a gimmie: just gotta memorize same stuff:
MOA, distinct side effects, use!!! plus its a good review of physio!

No, they said the Dr P they got at AUC was a MALE. Must have been a short-term faculty member from Ross who didn't work out.

ohhh...Dr...*aton.....w/ the english accent!!! hes soooo nice and clever!!!
Hes prettyy good...he does his research on USMLE related stuff!!! he's quite on the ball when it comes to high yield topics and is one of the best pharm profs out there...
I never could tell whos Qs were whos...but just study what he emphasizes..he tends to tell you what he likes and what he thinks is important...
He loves those beta blockers!!! and loves ANS pharm alltogether!

I liked him for pharm - packets were organized and easy to follow as were his lectures. I read the packets, went to class and filled in the blanks with lippencott and i did well on all his sections. he's on the ball with whats important...and he is straight up on testing...if you know his packets then you'll be okay, if you dont know your stuff then you won't be okay. We have a sort of pharm question bank at ross - i did the questions he put on there and found them pretty helpful prepping for the test. If he gives you practice questions, i'd suggest doing them. Hope this is helpful - good luck on your exam.
