Books???

Hi, i was just wondering if we need to bring any books (like anatomy or physiology, etc) to the island or do we just buy them there??

I remember someone mentioned you don't need books and can just study from notes and packets given out in class, but is that really enough to do good in med school??

I would bring your favorite undergrad books. You need supplementals for some physiology and biochem, although miesen-suck's book is decent, it isnt reader/learner friendly. This is my opinion, I like Stryer 5th edition for biochem. I think if you buy books you like for those subjects, you'll be fine. Everything you need to know is on the prof's notes/presentations, but its nice to have alternate explainations/examples. I like backslashs/hypens. Never enough sources, but never enough time for them all.
