Hi guys... Did anyone do this at Faculty 3?? How is it?? I have emailed them a week ago showing them my qualifications but I have had no reply... The application on their website is an old application which says 2005/2006 accademic year but i need a 2007 accademic year application... any ideas what to do?
Is it easy to get into? I'm from London, England by the way.

Anything you've got to say would be extremley helpful guys... I'm pretty confused at the moment... thank you.

Do you really need to do a premed course at Charles? If you have science A-levels you should be able to cope with the entrance exam.
Use your common sense about the application form! It's a web site i.e. no one bothers to update it! Use the one that's there- if they don't like it then that will a least propel them into some action.
Czech academic administration is not the most efficient in the world.
There is very little solid info. about 3rd fac. on this forum. I have heard in the past that their exam system is a bit strange and tough, but I don't have any current details.
Rather than worrying about the date on the web-based application form go and visit them. Talk to students, sit in on some classes. Spend a few days there. Central European medical education is not for everyone.

I'm sorry. Perhaps my reply was a little too terse- to the point of rudeness! Although I have to say that others have been much more insulting in similar circumstances.
What I, and many others on this forum, want to get across above all else, is the desirability of visiting these schools before making any disastrous and costly decisions.

Well said.

Miklos, since you dropped your tag about the folly of so many in failing to inspect the "goods" I have been tempted to adopt a similar one myself:) I believe it one of the most useful statements ever to have appeared on VMD.
Please consider restoring it, otherwise I shall pinch it!

It is back up for the moment, but may not be there for long, as I'm planning on advertising a new article for my blog (still in draft stages) and VMDs signature space is limited to 500 characters.

So, you are welcome to take it or plagarize it as you wish. I think that the message is far more important than my ego.
