Allright
I confused with all these caribbean med schools....
I am looking for:
1. An MD program which finishes in 3 yrs and not 4 yrs
2. affordable tuition
3. get a good residency in USA, preferably in NY, Illinois area (NE USA), but I would not mind Atlanta etc....and get clinicals in that area also.
4. NY state approved.
5. A schools with indians-- need my ppl to feel at home
* if anyone knows, can I work in ONtario, Canada afterwards...

First of all.. it is alright. All the Carib school are approx. 40 months. Which is 3.5 years. Still faster than US schools. Affordable is different for everyone. Of the top 5 schools, SABA is the cheapest. MUA is cheaper, but not in the "top 5". Residency is what you get after school and that is dependent on what you want to do and get accepted into. Rotations are in school. You have to look at each school's sites to see where they have available rotations. The location should not be important, accreditation should be. All Carib schools have Indians. NY would be Ross, SGU, AUC, SABA, MUA, AUC and I think SMU (could be another one or so).
You can go back to Canada, but it is hard.
Any other questions... please search the forums for these answers, most people will get annoyed with you asking the same questions every single other new person on here asks.
You want to go to med school? DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
Hope this helps...

there is no "top five" . You need to find a school that fits your needs. you are making a good start with the questions you're concerned with. remember; if you can't practice what you want where you want, it doesnt matter if you are with peple of a similar culture or how much you pay (in fact it will be more expensive in the long run).
