I'm a just curious, those of you who are at Charles University for the six-year M.D. program, OR those of you who plan to attend the university's ages are.
I am 23, but will be 24 by the time I enter the medical program in the upcoming year (hopefully!). Anyone out there that is starting a 6-year program in their late 20's or mid 30's?
Just a thought, because it'd be nice to be around students who are more around my age than those who are 18 and 19 just starting the program.

I think you'll be fine. I've heard of people applying that are into their 50's.
I personally will be 22 if I get accepted and attend for next year.

Well am 21 at the moment so its no big deal. I would finish when I am around 27. Big slog after that. Who knows how it will go.

No problem with the age range. I can confirm that there are many students who are older than the traditional 18 or 19 years.

I was wondering how many students at Charles from the U.S. have their bachelor's

i've heard that most people from the States and Canadian do have their B.A. or B.S., that's why those are the students that don't drop out AS MUCH, yet there are quite a few that drop out from what i've discovered from other members.

I wouldn't sweat it - I am 27 and won't be done with med school until probably 32 or so, which for me is perfect - got my B.A. at 22, but decided to take some time in the "real world" before I make the intense commitment to medical school.
