Hillside HotTub

i dont wanna be hold responsible.. but a friend of mine who stayed on the island for break told me that the hottub for hillside is done and now students can at lease relax there.. it can hold around 10-12 people and those lucky ones who get to stay at hillside can spend the cool nights at the hottub and study for anatomy...just make sure bring ur own towels.. they tend to be stolen on this island..

yashar, did you go and break the hot tub again? ;) I keep telling you not to dip in the tub while drunk, but you never listen :p and whoever had been stealing towels from Hillside better watch out..my mentee's gonna live there and she'll kick your behind for sure, ha ha ha :D

as far as it goes for towels the advice that i can give people is that they should try to grab towles from the hotels at st marten, that was the tradition last semester and worked out well for alot of us... that way u dont have to fill up ur suit case with towels .. just bring them from st maarten..
and then as far as the hot tub.. well its up and working appearantly it has a tempertature thing that u can bring the temp up or down depending on wether it is hot or cold outside which is awesome, the only downside is that only hillside people get to use it.. so those lucky ones at hillside are going go have a good time there.. the ones in mathews... prepare urself for rooms with no ac at some
anyways.. again its all rumors that im hearing from here and there.. u guys better look into it urself..
btw amy.. surprise surprise.. hows ur break.. ready for third semester? man second was tough...;)

Aahhh the Hillside hottub! It was good for the couple of weeks we got it. Glad they got it remodeled and working again for the new incoming crew. Sucks to be living in Matthews. Did they cure that roach problem there yet?

Who in their right mind wants to sit in a hot tub when it's so hot on Saba. Maybe they can build a cold tub...now that would be something that I would pay extra for. :D

it cant be cold cause the goats like to drink cold water, still i believe there are couple of ac's around the hot tub so people can cool down after going to hot tub.

Just got back from the school and sitting at Julianna's. Damn ... it is hot down here. :) Working on my 4th cold shower of the day...The HOT TUB was packed. They (Hillside) have just about completed the "lap pool"... Said it should be done within the next couple of weeks. Saw several goats, floppy eared rabbits and a dozen roosters hanging around Matthews... Damn they are really noisy.. crowing constantly. Hitched a ride back to Windward on the back of a truck... that was something I'll never forget... Has anyone ever driven over the edge? I've been on rollercoasters that weren't near as stomach wrenching as that... "white knuckled" the side of the truck the whole trip...

WOW, Saba certainly has changed since I first started!! We only had M*thew's dorms!!! There was only hot water at certain times a day and my ceiling leaked all over my clothes in the closet. Not to mention, the roaches and mice. YUCK!!! Oh well, I guess it was an experience...

Yes, dinner was excellent. Free protein is always a highly-valued commodity on Saba...only thing is that they are fast little buggers...
