View Full Version : pre-med course work question: physics

is 1 Yr of Physic required or is 1/2 a year of physics fine (both with labs)

If its 1 yr of physics then i have to go to school for 1 more year b4 i apply or if can take 1/2 year of physics this coming sememster and be ready for January semester in some caribean school.

I have all the other requirements

1Yr Biology (actually 2)
1yr chem
1yr org chem
1/2 year calculus
1/2 yr algebra
1 yr english

no physics :(


please help...i have looked all over and have not found a solid answer to this question..
should i go for the full year or i would be fine with 1/2 yr or physics (withlabs)

some schools like saba and mua recommend phyics but do not require it, you could try applying there.

its not aobut med schools at all ..
i am concerned about states after med school.
i know all the requirements for most med schools

you didn't quite include that in your question stem.. you might want to edit the post and add it so people know what exactly it is that you're looking for.

There were several posts regarding this issue ealier. You might want to do a search and see what you come up with. From what I remember reading, I think there are certain states like MA and CT that do require you to have had physics and other states that do not.
