Hi, First post..need some help.

I am a Canadian Student
I have completed my 2 years of undergrad.
I have taken all my pre-med requirements biology,chem, org.chem,english,1/2yr calcul, 1/2yr algebra

but I only took physics without lab : Intro to Astronomy.

I have recently applied to AUA and they are giving me an interview..But i spoke to someone about this and they said physics is required for licensure in States..which may be a possibility. I just want to know if AUA will give it to me if i go there or should i stick around for 1 more year for physics or does my physics without lab count.

How about licensure in Canada? Is it same?

plz help

intro to astronomy isn't exactly physics. two very different subjects.

i understand that it wont be counted....but so i should stick around for another year for physics...or would AUA fill me in on that requirement.

Would do a cost analysis of where it is cheaper. AUA in pre-med may let you do all three courses in one semester. I think it would be the semester from hell. I had three very lame physics profs at the brand name University I went to. I will say I really hated the three physics intro courses and labs I had. Matter of fact thinking back on it I never had a physics Prof I thought had a lick of joy for teaching the subject. Or even knew how to teach it. Maybe I am still bitter.

In Quebec you don't need to make your labs. But I saw universities of the roc asking for some labs; I don't know if they ask labs for their own need or for your eventual canadian licensure. But I know for sure you don't need it in quebec.
