cheeky cali ... you'll get in just fine.. The interview process is pretty smooth. Just read page 13 of the interview page... on this forum. All the question should be the same.

I had my interview while i was on the ambulance helping to deliver a baby. (I drove with the fire department ambulance service to get my paramedic license). So if i can pass an interview in a stressful situation as that. I am sure you can too.

Woah Duc83, that's dedication! Thanks for the confidence booster. I talk way too fast...on top of it i have an english accent (people often ask me to repeat myself, well here in Cali anyway). I hope that doesn't happen in my interview. I'll try not to get too worked up about it.;)

Like that's a bad thing! Where did this accent come from, unless you actually lived in the UK?

Thanks brat :p !

sajidgidda: I was born and bred in Zimbabwe, Africa, hence the accent. Yes..it can be a bad thing..the terminology here differs slightly.

I have an accent, but I don't use it in public. I use an american english accent most of the time (I worked on it for years!!) and use my other accent at home.

Anyone have a hard time understanding the Nevitians with their accents and slang words??

How do you keep up with two accents? Doesn't it get confusing?

No.

I got use to switching back and forth between them so it comes naturally.

Ever heard a persian's speaking english? Some can get by and speak english fluently, but some can't. From what my friend says, there isn't really a "accent" in farsi, so when they start speaking english , it sounds kinda funny almost as much as brits (not to offend anyone but that's a compliment).

You're right Belal, it does sort of sound like a British accent..it's quite unsual..
