can somebody please tell me when do rotations usually start in the summer in nyc and when do we take usmle1?

This may change, but the fall clinicals can start anywhere between Aug 8th and Sept. 5th. Since you schedule Step I yourself, you can take it any time before clinicals for NY if you want to use your 12 weeks of unaffiliated time and 4-6 weeks before you start for NJ (you have to have a passing Step I score to start.)
