The North Carolina Medical Board does not have a list of approved or non-approved medical schools. Every applicant is considered on an individual basis. Current eligibility requirements for full licensure for foreign medical graduates are: Medical degree; current valid ECFMG certification; three years Board approved postgraduate medical education; license examination approved by the Board (i.e. FLEX or USMLE).
The Board does not conduct site visits to medical schools.
