View Full Version : Which ligament close to femoral hernia?
Lacunar ligament or pectinal ligament?
Lacunar ligament or pectinal ligament?
don't remember a pectineal ligament but there is a pectineal line on the pelvic bone near to the pubis area... that leaves the lacunar ligament... which travels horizontally...
anyone else???
This is Qbank question. The answer is lacunar ligament. Because there are two ligament labelled on HY Anatomy (lacunar and pectineal ligament), which confused me. I think both ligaments close to pubic tubercle and under the inguinal ligament. But the label on HY Anatomy picture is not very clear.
Pectinear ligament = Cooper ligament. Gray's picture is mucy better:

thank you for clarifying that for me.. I have not heard Cooper ligament called the pectineal ligament... thank you again..
Thank you as well. This question is also clear for me now.
