Ok, so I've already called Bayshore and no concrete answer. Could someone please post the exact date of the whitecoat ceremony for the first term students this August? This would help in booking flight tickets for family.
Thanks in advance. :)

Odd that Bayshore couldn't give you a concrete answer, it's right on their website!

Yeah, I was told classes begin Aug. 21 so the ceremony will probably be the Friday or Saturday, as this is usually the case according to advisor, before that... Advisor was not sure as the schedule was not on hand at the moment (?/!). In any case, much appreciated emt.

So I take it then that most ppl's fam/friends/sig.others/etc. stick around the first day of lectures? Maybe it's just me, but seems kinda odd that the ceremony wouldn't be before start of lectures...to see off the students... I know that it's what you make of it, but generally, is the ceremony a big deal? Just curious.
