Hi all, I've been lurking around the forums for awhile, but this is my first post.

I understand that we need 2 letters of recommendation for the application, a general one and an academic one. I already have 1 letter from a chiropractor whom I volunteered for, would it be possible for me to get the 2nd LOR from someone who wasn't my professor, as he would be able to write a much better one than any of my professors. He is an assistant professor of USC medical school, but hasn't taught me directly. I plan to work for him over the summer as a research assistant.

Thank all an anticipation.

You can always call Bayshore to find out.

I could be wrong, but I think you will still need a letter from the prof that actually taught you. If you wish, you can send them all in.

Good Luck!

How would they know?

They may ask me about his class or something during the interview?
