anyone heard lately?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had heard anything from SGU lately in terms of interviews, acceptances or denials. I got a letter a few weeks ago that my app had been forwarded to the adcom to see about an interview………but I haven’t heard anything back and it’s been more than 2 weeks. Does it usually take this long?

Hey buddy, this is SGU. They do take time to select most qualified students. It's not uncommon for people to wait...

Dobby waits 4 weeks - Then got a call to schedule an interview in two weeks - poor Dobby was a mess at the end of two weeks. Dobby recommends beer if ya' got it or fine scotch if ya' can afford it - to pass the time. Poor Dobby was low on funds when the nice people from SGU finally called. Dobby had two bottles of JW Green and Gold's label by then and a half gallon of Harvey's.
Now Dobby smells like spice and everything nice .......

i interviewed on May 17th- haven't heard anything- faxed in my AUC and Ross acceptance letters yesterday- am getting nervous- ( cum GPA 3.16 and science 3.02 from Cornell and MCAT of 33)
Beer not working but maybe I will try the scotch!- :-)

Good luck to all of you guys. I interviewed on April 27th, and I got my acceptance about 2 weeks ago. You should definitely give Bay Shore a call.

Hi there. I interviewed on May 9th for Aug 2006 class. I was wondering how long it takes to get a reply (acceptance or denial) because it has been almost a month. I am getting worried because classes begin in start of August.

I already called last friday and the lady told me she saw my "interview" paper or whatever, but that it has not been reviewed as of yet and may tke 2 to 3 weeks. Should I wait that long or call beck sooner?

Interviewed April 19th. Calling weekly, and have heard "It's before the board" since April. That is one LONG meeting! LOL

I had my interview on 4/22 and they told me I would hear from them in 6 to 8 weeks, and I got accepted for Jan 2007 class in exactly 6 week. If you have been accepted by other Caribbean school fax them your letter of acceptance. It would speed them up.

Did you apply for the Aug 2006 Class? I did and had my interview in early May. Still, no response and I am wondering if they will reject me because classes begin v. soon.:confused:

I interviewed for the Aug 2006 class on May 20th and was accepted this past Tuesday (June 6th).

Like others mentioned, I'd call into the office to get them to tell you your status.

Yeah I was under the impression it was full too but somehow I was accepted for August.

most ppl i know heard thro phone first then the snail package came a few days later

When I applied, I got interviewed on May 13 and acceptance e-mail on June 11. It was for Aug class. I think you will hear soon since they usually have board meeting at the end of May or beginning of June.
