Hi, I heard that some hospitals in new-york offer free housing (or cheap housing). Been trying to research this coz I am the poorest person there is. Even if its crappy, I really would like to look into this option, coz I dont think my parents will be able to afford tuition and housing (am an international student and cant take out student loans). If anyone knows about this, pls let me know, am desperate!!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!

Thanks in advance

I had never heard of any cheap housing for students in NY, only NJ but perhaps things have changed since two years ago? Anyone else know?

I'm sorry I don't know which hospitals in NJ have cheap housing, just remember hearing that one or more did. Perhaps you could call the clinical coordinator's office?

St. Mike's offers housing - which i believe is free- but they only have medicine
St Joe's has housing for students and its relatively cheap - 800 US for a studio apt that is within spittin' distance of the hospital
San Joaquin (cali) offers cheap housing 25US per MONTH, but I believe you share.
HOpe that helps!

I believe Monmouth also has limited student housing and in Baltimore you can get i think free housing if you do your psych at Springrove
