Null (H0) vs Alternative (H1)--Null has two types: one-tailed and two-tailed; no difference between the disease and the risk factor; whereas in the H1, there is a difference or association.

Type I error (alpha sign)?














say that there is a difference when in reality, there is NO difference; it is the failure to accept the null hypothesis and to reject the experimental hypothesis;

the failure to reject the null hypothesis OR stating that there is no difference when in reality there is a difference :bored:
