Is it possible to search for California licensed doctors by the medical school they attended? Thank you.

There is in excess of 71,500 physicians in California. I am sure the California Medical Board has the information you request but I am sure that because of the shear volume involved they would charge a hefty sum for research it for you.

You can contact the California Medical Board in Sacramento, California. It is part of the Consumer Affairs Department of Government.

I am not sure why you want this enormous amount of information but think that if you are desiring to see what schools are recognized and their graduates permitted to practice, that is the inquiry you should make.

Thanks for the info. However, I am not asking for the entire medical school breakdown of all CA registered docs. Rather, I wanted to know if I can use the current Doc Search on the board website to search by Medical school graduated from?? Thanks!

No, Doc search function does not allow search by med school -- actually I can't think of a state that you can do so via their web-based licensure verification process.
