I am so happy that I have been accepted. 22/M/CT. I interviewed on May 8th 2006, and I found out today that I have been accepted. I can't wait to get the packet in the mail. Good luck to everyone that is waiting, and congrats to those who will be joining me. I am going to turn down my acceptance to Saba University. Can anyone tell me if I should take Ross over Saba?

Saba has smaller classes, but Ross allows you to get off the island faster.

January Ross over January Saba. I think I am going to go with Ross. It seems to a more respected school back in the U.S. and the campus seems to be more technologically advanced. Any more feedback is appreciated!

Hey craig. I'm in the same boat. + include SGU in the mix. I sent deposits in for Ross & Saba already. Right now, I'm leaning more toward Saba for no other reason really than $money$. It's hard to justify paying $100K extra. And the idea of leaving 4 months earlier to go to Miami just sounds like one more very temporary move I'd have to make, which would be one more pain in the *** for me. (Apparently, Saba is also considering this, which would actually be a big minus for me if it goes through. But some people definitely like the idea.)

I sort of like the idea of a large class at Ross vs. the smaller classes at Saba. More people to meet. More friends with the same interests. But not 400-500 people/ class. That just sounds ridiculous.

SGU is even more $, and more time with the required first summer off. And there's a Saba dropout who started over at SGU and spends a lot of time on the Saba forums; his bitterness toward Saba for being shown the door, along with the misinformation he posts, also seems to indicate Saba might be a step or two ahead of SGU in the student quality dept. Hopefully not representative of SGU, but not worth the gamble for me.

It's a tough decision. Good luck to both of us. I just sent you a PM.

congrats. on getting accepted at both schools.

You should follow your gut instinct on this one and never look back. The school's campus is really advanced, the teaching pretty good, and most PDs know about Ross.

Personally and profesionally and if I am in your shoes, I'd pick Ross. I picked Ross 4 years ago and despite some minor gripes I'd pick this school again.

Good publicity, but poor credibility.

Sounds like you are a big fan of publicity or shall I say you are bitter/jealous because you can't afford to go to SGU. It's quite all right, we all have to accept our fate. I seriously doubt SGU will consider you, judging from your misdemeanor. If they do, it would surely indicate dropping in quality of their accepted students.

btw, the use of actual name is not permitted on this forum.

Definitely more well known and respected. If you're more comfortable with Ross, go with Ross.

Good luck with Ross in January!

Total cost at Saba ~ $140,000 (The figure I got when I was attending Saba last year, after their tuition increase)

Total cost at SGU ~ $235,000 (the figure I got from Bayshore office last year when I started at SGU)

Total cost at Ross ~ $215,000 (the figure I got from newly accepted Rossie on this forum)

Assuming total cost at Ross is ~ $215,000. It's definitely not a big difference when comparing with SGU.
