I am trying to decide what type of doctor I should be. I do not deal well with a lot of stress. I would like to have a family one-day, so long hours are not favorable. I hate surgery. Does anybody have any advice? I was thinking of maybe becoming a dentist, do you think that is a good idea? My advisors keep encouraging me to go to med school though (I have good numbers, so I can get in to a top-rated med school). One more thing, I am female, blonde, and lets just say I do not look like a dork. I am afraid people will not take me seriously. I think I look like a dumb blond. Should I even be a doctor/dentists? As you could tell I am extremely stressed and desperately need your help!

Hi-
I suggest tackle each obstacle as you get there. First decide if you want med school, after that you have a long way before you have to decide what kind of medicine you want to do. I would also suggest deciding if you want to be a dentist or not because that is a different pathway all together. What about veterinarian school?
Private message me if you need some more help from a second year med student (almost third year).

The way that you present your self is alot more important than the way you look, just because your blonde that doesn't mean people are not going to take you seriouslyt. I'm sure that once you go through medical school you will have developed a sense of how to present you self to patients :D
