What did you guys brought with you when you went for the interview in miami?
Bad Volde - reads your essay and transcripts before you walk in the door - if they ask you questions you eremember what you wrote and classes you took. Don't bring in your research on questions they ask you - no that is a very bad idea.
here are Dobbyy's do's:
Do be relaxed
Do expect surprises
Do ask questions about them
Do ask how they see you fitting in (your last question at end of interview)
Do know about your failures and how you have overcome those issues,
Do be able to support without hesitation everything in your application
Do know several issues in current medicine

Here are Dobby's Don'ts
Don't be tight
Don't be a know it all
Don't be a jerk - have your research done showing you know what to expect in:
1. Island living
2. What medical school is about
3. Large class room situations

I preferred not waking up eraly in the morning to stand up when my dept. was called and sit back down. Not very personal. I attended a grad reception for the Biol Dept., more personal.

So when I walk to the door, I should have gone over my application things, and read my essay. So when I actually walk in do I carry nothing with me except a pen and a paper? And leave my stuff at the hotel?

oh and Dobby, what do you mean by Large class room situations? Can you elaborate Dobby?
