I will be taking my interview in chicago on june 20th for the september class (couldn't get an interview earlier). is it possible to get a spot this late? how soon does the class fill up?

Well, considering that we have just received an email regarding the class size, it's pretty packed. You may want to go ahead and apply and choose Jan 07.

Ouch....

But as I understand it, many people go to other Carib schools and some get into DO or even US schools later on so the numbers will go down by the start of the semester.

This may be true, but the fact remains that 400 have been accepted.

According to the email there have been 400 offered a slot already for the Sept06 class plus @700 waiting to hear about getting into it or being waitlisted till Jan07. That 400 was also the number given in an earlier email about the honors program: @325 in the regular class and @75 in the honors program.

As I said on a previous thread, I interviewed May 8 and received a phone call of acceptance today. The fall class is full, so I was accepted to the January class. Good luck!

similiar to what txdoc said.. i interviewed 5/9 and got a call of acceptance today as well and yes the fall class is full so i'm going in January.

I spoke with my advisor a couple of days ago, and I asked her about the class size. She told me that the September class size is usually 300-340 students, the most they're expecting is 400 people, but no more than that due to classrooms capacity ;) .
