I am reading that electo-mdicine is the wave of the future. Big pharma willing.
I have read of the electronic muscle stimulators that are used to retrain injured muscles, and prevent atrophy. They say the micro currents stimulate blood supply and tones the skin. I read that it is used on patients with Palsey and Parkinson's.
I have a question in this regard. Do any of you know if electro stimulation has ever been used on patients with congenital ptosis of the upper eyelid?
And if so, with what results.
And if it has never been tried, I have to wonder why not.
I have spent about 4 hours googleing this and have come up empty handed.
They only mention surgical correction, which I can tell you is definitely NOT corrective.
I would appreciate any info you may have. Maybe the subject will interest some of you to do research on it.
