Hi everyone,

I'm just finishing up my degree at San Diego State University this summer and I plan to take the MCAT in August.

I was just looking at the websites for the Technion and Sackler medical schools and it seems their timetables are different from U.S. schools.

I'm applying to some U.S. schools in the next couple weeks, but those applications are for admission for Fall '07, whereas it looks like if I were to apply to Israeli schools now (next couple weeks) I'd be applying for admission for Fall '06. Is this correct?

Do you need to have already taken the MCAT to apply to the Israeli schools?

Thanks

Hi-
You are correct- Sackler applications is for the upcoming school year, as opposed to the american schools. You do need to have completed the MCAT before your application will be considered complete, therefore taking the test this August is just a bit late for you but you can apply for the upcoming year early. (I would give them a call and see maybe they will accept a late MCAT score if everything else isin tact- better yet: e-mail them.)
Good luck

Check the application. It has a "due date" at the bottom. You can also see it on their website
