I thought Ross is a great school to go to if you have to go foreign but recently I have been hearing alot of crap/bashing abt Ross. So what is the deal? Can I get some responses from the May 06 class. How is the school since you have been there??
there are always whiners. always have been, always will be. i graduated from ross 3 years ago, and when i was there, the whiners all had the same thing in common. they werent doing well. well, if most of the class was doing well, obviously its not the schools fault, but the individuals fault. Ross does not accept people to fail them. they dont accept people to screw them over. they accept people to give them a chance to prove taht the US schools who rejected them were mistaken. the island is not NYC. its not chicago. it is third world. pics i have seen have shown it is DRASTICALLY better then it was when i left the island in dec of 2000. if my class could survive. you can too. i think those who claim that they couldnt make it because of the island are extremely weak human beings. if it was that bad, over 5000 other students would not have made it either.

As stated above....there is always that small percentage of whiners who usually transfer to another carib school and start bashing ross.
I think its because they are frustrated and jealous...since they blew the opportunity that Ross gave them.

I agree that the majority of the complainers are not doing well academically. However there are also plenty of students at the top of their class with legitimate complaints about ross. In my opinion ross caters far too much to the students that are stuggling. I say cut the dead weight. Many of the top students are tired of having to sit thru repeated lectures just so that the stragglers can catch up. The tests that are given at ross are not that hard and some of the tests are a joke. Alot of students are in for a rude awakening when they sit for step 1.

Just stay away from the complainers. They will eventually wear you down. Keep a positive outlook, don't look back, and you'll do fine. The grass always seems greener on the other foreign school's side.
