How many months do students spend on the island? I head it is 16 months on the island and then student come back for their clinical. After 16 months students do their clerkship in the affiliated hospitals that in New Jersey, NY etc?

17 weeks term 1
18 weeks term 2
6 weeks term 3
18 weeks term 4
6 weeks term 5
12 weeks term 6

then yes you do ur rotation back in the US
