Try to make a ham-handed attempt to impress and some will take you down. its easy to expose someone who thinks they're being smarter than you. you'll walk right into it if this guy isn't particuarly kind.

If you are referring to the doctor AT Columbia, who is Canadian, then yes, I interviewed with him. He is the head resident there, very down to earth and easy to talk to. You'll like him.
