Hello everyone, on the 17th of this month I need to choose my major and it will be set in stone.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how I could go about finding a major that I would like?

Right now I am thinking of going into envrionmental science because it overlaps abunch of my pre-med requirements.

I'm also thinking of Anthropology and Philosophy because I find both of those very interesting.

Any advice board members?

Major in something that, if you do not get into med school, will provide you with a job that you will love for the rest of your life. Talk to your advisor, parents, professors, ministers, etc. about what they think you would enjoy if you really have no idea. Take an interest/skills inventory at your school's career resources center.

I agree you don't need a specific major to get accepted to medical school. All you need is the pre-req., but if the higher level classes you take in bio. the better prepared you will be. I took a lot of upper level classes that I am currently taking in medschool and it looks familur and a lot it is review. This makes it easier for me to put focus on stuff I havn't seen before. But good luck with you decision.
