not that great. My professors have sent my letters of rec to all the schools I applied to, i.e. the big 4, and they have all received the letters except for Saba. They emailed me this morning to tell me that they have not received any l.o.r.'s. what gives? Has anyone else had issues like this? What can I do? I don't want to nag my professors for another copy.

I called Saba this morning and they said that had put another folder in for me with my name reversed. So they 2 folders for me with my documents split up. They've corrected it now but do you guys think it would hurt my chances in being admitted to the Fall 06 class?

Maybe that doubled your chances of admission?

OK, this thread has me somewhat irked...as I'm sure the OP is.
However, perhaps the better response to not getting your LOR's in on time, instead of bitching about how the Saba admin office "is not that great", would have been to pick up the phone, make a call, and discover that an admittedly stupid mistake was the cause of the problem, and the problem is solved.
Guess what? Clerical mistakes happen all over the place, and are not restricted to Saba (or any other medical school).
An annoying and concerning problem with the OP? Sure. But, future physicians should perhaps be able to solve minor, annoying problems without any whine.

Hey, of the three schools I applied to, Saba's fornt office made no mistakes on the stuff sent to them. Both of the other schools did have issues with missing transcripts etc. Bottom line is it is up to you to resolve the issue. LOR are more problematic as that you are depending on some one else to get the stuff in. I sent envelopes with stamps on then to my LOR writers. Some people use prepared US post express mail envelopes or FedEx so they can track them. I used FedEx for my applications. One school had to send the transcripts twice for me to one school.
