Other than the big 4, are there any schools that have Texas approval?

The big 4 are not all on the approval list in Texas, only Ross is on the list, all other "for profit"carribean schools are not on the approval list. Its crazy list to mention poor qualities schools all over the world and skip good established schools like SGU,AUC,etc...I am sure things will change soon because states can't block excellent physicians forever especially those states disperate for physicians and actually when I looked at Texas few yrs ago they told me the process takes 6 months but if you go to underderved area the process much faster[I guess Texas has physician shortage/underserved population at that time].
personal opinion.

Other than the big 4, are there any schools that have Texas approval?St James has two grads in residency in Texas. Don't know if a training license leads to full Texas license. You need to check their website or e-mail them. Also St James is a non profit state supported school whereas AUC & SGU are not. I do remember reading Texas is a case by case state. I also know St Matt's is a rejected because they don't meet Texas Medical School Ed. specs. Think I saw several posts on that.

TX training license does not equal eligibility for permenent license. In fact, it's far from it.
If St. Matt's students are rejected for permenent license in TX, it's unlikely that St. James students will be granted full license. TX seems to be unofficially following the CA list. I know besides Ross, SGU and AUC grads are routinely fully licensed in TX without much hassel, many have received full licensure this past year.
