Hi Everyone!
I am new in this forum, and I like it so much. I really hope to find a solution for my biggest concern.
I am an international student in the US school, pre-med. I really want to becaome a doctor, but in the US I don't think I can accomplish it with its such a high tuition. I am not permanent resident or citizen to get fin aid, or any kind of loans. Anybody knows anyone, or anyone in the same situation as I am. Now I am thinking of even going to Foreign Medical schools, if they are affordable. Can anyone give me advice on this issue. Thank you all of you.

Many of the foreig schools (at least the Carib ones) will end up costing you more than US schools in the longrun. Not sure about other places.

First try to find out if you can study in your own country, it will be lot cheaper and you can easily adjust there as well. I agree with tRmedic21 as well.

paying for school is tough for all of us. It sounds like it is even tougher for you. I agree with asu tx, see if there is a medical school in your own country that has gaduates in the US. Check the list of schools that are approved by California and see if there are any schools in your country that are approved. The California list is a really good indicator of how the US feals about the school.

Another thing you could do is see if anyone rich is willing to adopt you...

Come to think of it if anyone is interested in adopting a 33 year old medical student I'm available. I am yours for the cost of one medical education. Think of it... you get a son without ever having to change dipers or loan him the car. Just a few hundred thousand dollars and I will change my last name. Any takers?
