I'm curious if there are programs available for IMGs allowing them to sign a contract to work x number of years in a rural town where there are doctor shortages and none wanting to fill the spots? I know Memorial University of Newfoundland had a similar program for its own students. Cheers.

Yes, primary care only, and you work way north - Ontario has a program.
