Hello everyone!
Anyone on the island (or going to be on the island) play a little tennis? I'm contemplating on whether or not to bring my racquet.
PM me! I'll be getting there in August!

i play a bit of tennis too. i'm not that great, but i can exchange groundstrokes and maintain a rally. i'll probably bring my racquet down as well. federer is great...he's dominating the tour. lets see what happens with him and nadal this clay court season. oh yeah, what's the fee for using the courts on the island? i'll do a search...

I'm not sure about the fees either. I think that for $50 a month, you get gym, pool, and tennis court. I may have heard that somewhere on this forum... Someone correct me...
Awesome.. I'm no pro, but I can keep a rally going ok. I love the sport, but never truly trained for it. I'm really glad to see some tennis players! It'll be a great break from studying!
Federer IS awesome. I always go for the underdog though. I like Baghdatis.. but I'm not even sure how he's doing. Tennis isn't broadcasted much here in TN- or I always miss it.

I think I'll have to bring a racquet as well. Its too bad I haven't played more than a few games the last few years. I feel so out of shape and like I'll fail miserably.
But dammit, I do love to smack that ball around.

I am good at playing tennis. I played tennis at a tennis academy for 2 years. I don't think I will bring my tennis racquet, so if someone has another racquet for me, I will play them. :)

Awesome.. I'm sure someone can spare you one.
BTW, no one expects Club Med. Tennis is just OUR way of recreation and relaxation from long hours/days/weeks/months of studying. A healthy mind starts with a healthy body.
