How soon after the application is in?

I'm new to the thread, and appreciate all your comments in the thread so far! I've learned a lot!
I have a question though....HOw long after you turn in the appluication do you hear anything about whether you qualify for an interview or not?

1-4 weeks depending on when the applicant is complete.

I plan to turn it in next week, once I get all my transcripts in....

and the lOR should follow the week after that...

and this may sound crazy, but hopefully it's for this Fall...if not then January...

I think most people get an email about 3 days after their application is complete and the email has a phone number they ask you to call...So call up the number and ask if you've been granted interview...Thats how mine was....

So I got that email today , and it has a recommendation to go to Florida, if i was granted an interview.

They asked to wait 3 days as the regional office review my file.

Can you tell me what happens nex, from your experiance?

I am planning to go to Miami for the interview if i find i was offered one.

who is the person that does the maiami interviews? is it Dr C?

i got the email last thursday so i called yesterday. they said they have not looked at it yet and will call me back today. if they don't ill keep calling them back everyday until they tell me yes. :twisted:

im applying for jan 07 but thinking about changing it to september 06. anyone done this before?

Your situation is just like mine. It happened this morning when I called Ross main number (888 number) and the lady informed that I have been granted an interview and told me to contact another person about my status. Then I found out about the email. So Im not sure at this moment if I already got an interview or will have to wait for further evaluation after calling the regional office. Im thinking of going to Miami too, Voldermort. Good luck to you! :)

When I got the e-mail it said that a regional person would call me. When she did she asked if I wanted to interview here in Chicago or in Miami. I chose Miami because i wanted to talk with recently arrived students.

But I did have to call Miami and schedule the actual interview day with them, not the regional woman I spoke with. The lady in Miami - 'J' - who answers the phone is very pleasant..and more so in person... she will be happy to answer questions for you.

PS My acceptance was over the phone and then later that day I received a next day air welcome packet.

Yay! Got my interview date today. That'dbe the 16th in Irvine, California. Has anyone gotten his/her interview there? My case is a little strange...

yeah i called the miami office back the next day after they didnt call me. she said she would get on it right NOW and called me back in 15 minutes to give me an interview date. just keep calling.
