Do students at Saba actually get detailed print out lecture notes? or do we take notes in class? If there is notes, is notes enough to study from or reading the text book is essential as well?

Every course is power-point based. So you will need a laptop to go over lecture material, unless you won't mind to read it off from the library's computer...
You can write up your own lecture notes. But most students just study from the power point presentation or print them out if they don't want to stare at the monitor all the time...
Current Saba student should be able to tell you more about it....

Hi,
For histology, you will not recieve lecture notes from profs, only powerpoints. If you have sufficient cell biology background then studying the powerpoints is advised, otherwise reading the book will be helpful, either way you will spend time learning.
For Anatomy, you will receive detailed notes for each lecture, they are gold. Read them before lectures and LISTEN during lectures, if you actively listen in class you will find it easier to memorize things.
Salutations "pinkdefish":
Powerpoint, powerpoint, powerpoint. That is the form of notes here. Ciao.
