I was just wondering how all of you are spending your pre-island days. Are you studying to get into the groove of things & trying to get ahead? Or are you doing nothing while that is still an option? Are you taking that one last vacation before it is too late? Are you waiting patiently, hoping that you have a looong way to go before hopping into 5th gear? Or are you anxiously waiting, biting your nails, & can't wait to start the darn thing?:p

As for myself, at first I was nervous about going to the island, but now I can't wait to go & get it over w/. More than anything, I hate the waiting game & being idle. I am trying to keep my mind off of things by looking over my textbooks & studying somewhat. But in reality, I am biting my nails because it seems like I have to wait an eternity before something begins! The end of August seems so far!

What are you guys doing to pass the time?

Unfortunately, I have other things on my mind besides Ross right now, I have to make sure I pass Cell Biology so I can graduate this May. This summer I am going to enjoy every free moment I have before I sign my life over to med school. Enjoy your free time while you have it!

I started to read my text books as well, but I'm kinda distracted, and have been very busy at work, so that hasn't gone very well. Besides, I've been told that what I may study for a month here may be covered in a couple of days at the island, so feelings of being overwelment start to creep in.

I had a little mini vacation about a month ago, I've been going out with friends and trying to jump as many times as possible before I leave.
I'm extremelly eager to start, and I hate the wait, but I don't think it still seems real to me.
It's been a long road to get me here, so it hasn't quite hit me yet that in about 2-3 weeks I'm starting a brand new life.

we're in the middle of moving to another home, and that has kept me quite occupied. Plus, getting in all the dr. appts, etc, immunization records are a pain to get, so i have 0 time for studying, im sure i could make some, but id rather watch tv while i still can.

so im taking it as easy as i can :D
