Anyone se this week's USN&WR- its the issue with the best grad schools. Opposite the page with the Med School rankings is a full page ad for, you guessed it! SGU!!

This ad placement is very clever. Not only is it perfect placement (virtually every premed student will see it) but it also sends a subliminal message that associates SGU with the best grad schools. People will remember the list and also remember something about SGU. Its brilliant! The marketing department deserves a raise for that one!

i have to agree, whatever futziness goes on at bayshore, there are no cobwebds on those PR folks. Actually I take that back; there were a few times i gave them info regarding award etc that grads had that never made it public. But this is a good one.

USN & WR must be a lot cheaper in St. V's than in Grenada. At IGA it costs like 25EC.

Anyway, I agree that was a smooth move by SGU. Now it will be really impressive if they can make it into the rankings.

this wasn't the first time that SGU advertised there. Just look at the few years. I've seen it there before.

it would be kinda interesting though if they did do a comparasion and ranking of the off shore schools (and even compare to the us schools!!).

DrB, you should do it. I honestly think, after reading all your posts, that your idea of a fun time would be to get locked in a room with thousands of pages with numbers on them so that you could run the various statistics on them.

So, go man, go! find out which school is the best!

(but that might eliminate like 90% of the chatter on VMD!)
