Food??

This might be a random inquiry....but as I am packing boxes to be shipped to the island, I am wondering if we can ship food into the country. i am not talking huge cases of food, but small "comfort" foods. Does food get confiscated?

If anyone can answer this i'd appreciate it.....

There are NO inspections of anything coming into the Netherland Antilles. Not at the airport, not mail, nothing.

Don't attempt to try and get cuban cigars purchases in NA back past Miami customs for Christmas. Had a few friends who made the attempt from Bonaire. While you don't wind up on America's most wanted you do wind up in hot water.
