I know that by the time you complete your school, you will have about $200,000 debt including living expenses. My question is do caribbean students end up with greater amount of debt than US Medical school students?

It depends on what school you goto...state schools are much cheaper but most private US schools can exceed the cost at a carib school

i find the biggest cost going to school here is the airfare

I f you so to a state subsidized medical school the tuition will be somewhere around $20,000 a year versus $40,000 a year for some US private medical schools. Other savings could exist if you can live at home or where you currently live in the USA.

If I went to McGill it would cost $20,000 total for 4 years. So that is 10x less than the carib.
