A neoplasm arising in the location identified here (to the right: appears white with slight pink (lower right))in a 19 year old male will be most likely microscopically be characterized by the presence of:
1. megakaryocyte proliferation
2. ill-defined glands
3. sheets of plasma cells
4. osteoid deposition
5. numerous lipoblasts

Answer: #4: osteoid deposition, why? Osteosarcomas arise in the metaphyseal region of long bones and, though these neoplasms are not common, they are most likely to arise in young males. The neoplastic cells produce a pink osteoid matrix.
