Which of the following conditions in an adult is most likely to lead to obstruction with enlargement and hypertrophy of the structure identified here (middle and appearing yellow-tan):
1. phimosis
2. colonic adenocarcinoma
3. infection with E. coli
4. rhabdomyosarcoma
5. nodular prostatic hyperplasia

Answer: #5, nodular prostatic hyperplasia, why? The urinary bladder outlet in males includes the prostatic urethra which can become narrowed from enlargement of the prostate, a common condition in older males.
