Well, it has been two years since I arrived on the island of Dominica. I have since left the island, finished fifth semester, taken step one, received my scores, and am about to start rotations. I have to say many things you read on this forum is just false. I made it through every semester without any problems. No missing financial aid checks. No breaks in at my apartment. No teachers trying to fail me. Everytime I have called the clinical department I have talked to someone or they called me back within the day. I received my clinical rotations the day I faxed my scores. I want say that every teacher was a masterful educator but they tried. There were many wonderful teachers that I learned a lot from. Well I just wanted to say if you work hard and keep your eye on the end goal, you can do it. I out scored everyone that was in my undergrad class that went to US schools. They were getting 210's or 220's. I think one girl got a 235 or something close to that. I scored over a 250. So it just goes to show you, Ross can prepare you for the challenges that lay ahead. To everyone at Ross continue your studies and I will probally see you in clinicals. To everyone thinking of applying, you will get out of it whatever you are willing to put in it.
